Explore a staggering beautiful sci-fi world in ALICE VR.
Carbon Studio today announced ALICE VR, an upcoming sci-fi FPS designed specifically for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive and set to release alongside the Rift headset Q1 2016. Set across an alien planet who’s inhabitants have mysteriously disappeared, the game will task players with exploring vast landscapes and structures while solving puzzles to ultimately reveal what happened.
Powered by the Unreal Engine, ALICE VR is already a staggering beautiful game to behold (as seen in the video and screenshots on this page), with vast exteriors and detailed locations to see, and it won’t be long until everyone gets to see the game in action in virtual reality, as the development team hopes to release the game in April 2016, mere weeks after the release of the Oculus Rift CV1.
With planned motion control support for later this year, and a story-line that changes depending on the players decisions, ALICE VR is already shaping up to be an impressive experience on the Oculus Rift. You can support the games development by voting for it on Steam Greenlight, where even more screens and information can be found.
